So they tell me, can’t trust the weight scale. I stepped on the darn thing this am and it said 114.2
WHAT?? That’s a weight gain of 4 lbs in 24 hours? Yesterday was a meal day – I ate veggies…okay, a potatoe in the am w/ eggs, asparagus w/ dinner…awesome shrimp scampi that my friend made me for dinner – along with the best homemade meatballs I’ve ever had…and a glass of red wine.
Okay, I’ve had a few cocktails this past week, and red wine last night…so those things are cheating – but that should not trigger a 4 lbs weight gain…so what gives?
Um…I just went over to the scale again, and guess what…111.8
WHAT?? This just goes to prove my point. Those darn scales just can’t
be trusted. I’ll go to the gym and use their scale. I’ve been told
gym scales tend to be more accurate. The most accurate is supposed to be the kind that are found in doctor’s offices.
Better yet, I”m not going to be placing too much weight (pun intended) on the darn scale. I FEEL lighter. I FEEL better, healthier, stronger. And that’s what important, right? And the clothes fit better. That’s the real test.
Okay, off to make some scrambled eggs! It’s a protein day!
